According to Census 2011, the total population of Sedibeng district was 721 663 and 0, 3% are child headed families, 34, 7% are Female headed households. The house hold average disposal was 58%. This indicate the market MEP Plants and Decor is operating in creates job opportunities for rural South African citizens both directly and indirectly especially women and youth. The company aims to employ skilled and semi-skilled workers who are dealing directly with recycling, recovering, general waste/hazardous waste management. Due to large percentage of the population managing their own waste disposal, MEP Plants and Decor will be providing indirect jobs/business opportunities to house hold in the Sedibeng Region and surrounding areas. Our aim is to alleviate unemployment and poverty.

MEP Plants and Décor will be indirectly contributing to the campaign for natural resources, protection, conserving and waste valuing because it promotes the concept of re-use, recovery and recycling than using natural resources (virgin material) to produce new materials. Our aim is to influence a culture surrounding the value of waste.

Resellers

MEP Plants and Décor waste division will buy waste direct from the public.

Sorters

MEP Plants and Décor waste division will provide sorters on site for corporate clients at a minimal fee and a waste report will be issued monthly basis.

Waste Removal

We remove waste from Corporate clients, Offices, Industrial and residential estates. The waste is collected and sorted at our sites and sold to buy back centers that are contracted to MEP Plants and Décor (Waste division). Garden waste will be taken straight to composting plant which will be on site

Waste Training

MEP Plants and Décor (Waste Division) is aiming to be one of the waste collecting contractors who are offering exceptional services. We plan to teach the Sedibeng residents and the surrounding area how to separate waste at point of source.
